CULTIVATION TECHNICIAN – Job Description Treevana Wellness in Milledgeville, GA is an innovative and rapidly growing player in the cannabis industry. OVERVIEW: The Cultivation Technician will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our cannabis cultivation facility. Working under the supervision of the Cultivation Manager, the Technician will assist with various aspects of the cultivation process, including planting, watering, pruning, harvesting, and maintaining a clean and organized cultivation environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about cannabis cultivation to gain hands-on experience and grow their career in the industry. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Daily observational reporting on health and status of plants. (Saturation checks, PH/EC values, reports, scouting etc.) • Plant pruning of plants through veg/flower cycle that is consistent with Treevana procedures and methods (transplant, top, foliar feed, pruning, de-fanning, trellising, spacing, cloning etc.) • Maintain a clean environment constantly, assisting in daily/weekly cleaning sessions of plant rooms and irrigation. • Water, feed, and monitor plants to ensure optimal health and growth. • Monitor environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, and lighting, and make adjustments as needed. • Assist with the setup and maintenance of irrigation systems, lighting systems, and other cultivation infrastructure. • Assist with pest and disease management efforts to prevent and mitigate issues. • Use equipment responsibly and repair/upgrade equipment as necessary. • Participate in harvesting and processing activities, including trimming, drying, and curing cannabis plants. • Follow proper harvesting and curing protocols to preserve potency, flavor, and aroma. • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. • Assist in other departments as requested by your direct manager or upper management. • Meet cultivation, harvest, and production quotas. • Maintains an adequate inventory of the materials and supplies needed. • Maintain open lines of communication. • Knowledge and operations of BioTrack. • Collect and track data to make educated decisions. Treevana Wellness® 3015 Heritage Place Drive Milledgeville GA 31061 QUALIFICATIONS: • Must pass a Level 2 background check for employment. • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field preferred. • Previous experience in cannabis cultivation or agriculture preferred but not required; willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment is essential. • Basic knowledge of plant biology, cultivation principles, and horticultural techniques. • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work safely with cannabis plants and cultivation equipment. • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Strong understanding of HVAC • Must have reliable transportation. • Basic math skills • Able to keep arms and shoulders at chest height or higher. • Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets • Effective time management skills • Can follow directions well, problem solving, strong work ethic, punctual and a team player! PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to perform physical labor and lift 50 pounds, comfortable working with heights, work in warm/humid environments, work under bright lights and work in dark areas with green supplemental lights, be over the age of 21.
